John Schwieters is the CEO of Schwieters Capital, a leading holding company specializing in management consulting, commercial development, and business acquisitions. John’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1980 when he founded JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, which quickly became a trusted provider of carpentry and framing services in the Twin Cities.

Driven by innovation, John introduced computer-directed production for prefabricated housing components, revolutionizing the efficiency and quality of construction. In 1995, he expanded by acquiring Builders Equipment Company, enhancing job site capabilities with advanced forklifts and equipment.

In 1999, John relocated JL Schwieters to Hugo’s Bald Eagle Industrial Park, leveraging a freight rail spur to streamline operations. Under his leadership, the company has become the largest employer in the White Bear Area.

In 2008, John ventured into the multifamily sector, now owning over 600 apartment units and 400,000+ square feet of commercial space across Minnesota. Through Schwieters Capital, he continues to drive real estate investments and foster community development.
